Commencement Proclamation

under the

Superannuation Legislation Amendment Act 2010 No 60

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Superannuation Legislation Amendment Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 12 October 2011 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the remaining uncommenced provisions of the Superannuation Legislation Amendment Act 2010. The provisions amend the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987 in relation to death and incapacity benefits for ambulance officers.
