Commencement Proclamation

under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Part 3A
Repeal) Act 2011 No 22

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Part 3A Repeal) Act 2011, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 October 2011 as the day on which that Act (other than Schedule 1.2 [28]) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the whole of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Part 3A Repeal) Act 2011 other than provisions that provide for the circumstances in which the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure may issue a certificate under Part 4A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 in respect of any development for which the Minister has granted development consent (or any project for which the Minister has granted approval).
