Commencement Proclamation

under the

Australian Jockey and Sydney Turf Clubs Merger Act 2010 No 93

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Australian Jockey and Sydney Turf Clubs Merger Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 7 February 2011 as the day on which Schedule 3 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to certain Acts and statutory instruments consequent on the specification of the merger finalisation day by order of the Minister under section 8 of the Australian Jockey and Sydney Turf Clubs Merger Act 2010.
