Commencement Proclamation

under the

Marine Safety Amendment Act 2008 No 59

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Marine Safety Amendment Act 2008, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 2011 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Marine Safety Amendment Act 2008, including the provisions which deal with amendments relating to the pilotage of vessels.
