Commencement Proclamation

under the

Marine Safety Act 1998 No 121

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Marine Safety Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 2011 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a) sections 29 (f) and (g) and 36,
(b) Part 6,

(c)

Schedule 2 to the extent that it repeals the Marine Pilotage Licensing Act 1971 and the Marine Pilotage Licensing Regulations,

(d) Schedule 3.7 [7], [9], [11] and [13].

Explanatory note
