Commencement Proclamation

under the

Protected Disclosures Amendment (Public Interest Disclosures)
Act 2010 No 84

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Protected Disclosures Amendment (Public Interest Disclosures) Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation:

(a)

appoint 3 March 2011 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(i) Schedule 1 [1]–[6] and [10]–[12],
(ii) Schedule 1 [14] (to the extent to which it inserts section 6A),
(iii) Schedule 1 [15], [17], [20], [22], [23], [25] and [33]–[38],
(iv) Schedule 1 [39] (to the extent to which it inserts section 31B),
(v) Schedule 1 [40]–[43],
(vi) Schedule 2, and

(b)

appoint 1 July 2011 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(i) Schedule 1 [7]–[9] and [13],
(ii) Schedule 1 [14] (to the extent to which it inserts sections 6B–6D),
(iii) Schedule 1 [16], [18], [19], [21], [24] and [26]–[32],
(iv) Schedule 1 [39] (to the extent to which it inserts section 31A), and

(c)

appoint 1 January 2012 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.
