Commencement Proclamation

under the

Courts and Crimes Legislation Further Amendment Act 2010
No 135

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) (b) of the Courts and Crimes Legislation Further Amendment Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 4 March 2011 as the day on which Schedule 6.1 and 6.4 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain amendments made to the Civil Procedure Act 2005 by the Courts and Crimes Legislation Further Amendment Act 2010 providing a statutory regime for the conduct of proceedings of a representative nature in certain actions and proceedings in the Supreme Court.
