Commencement Proclamation

under the

Courts and Crimes Legislation Amendment Act 2009 No 77

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Courts and Crimes Legislation Amendment Act 2009, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 2010 as the day on which Schedule 2.6 [3] to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence an amendment to the Civil Procedure Act 2005 that applies the provisions of that Act (including the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 2005) to the Industrial Relations Commission (including the Industrial Court).
