Commencement Proclamation

under the

Child Protection Legislation (Registrable Persons) Amendment
Act 2009 No 93

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Child Protection Legislation (Registrable Persons) Amendment Act 2009, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 12 March 2010 as the day on which Schedule 1 [1]–[3] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Child Protection Legislation (Registrable Persons) Amendment Act 2009, including provisions relating to reporting requirements imposed on registrable persons who intend to change their place of residence.
