Commencement Proclamation

under the

Courts and Crimes Legislation Further Amendment Act 2010
No 135

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Courts and Crimes Legislation Further Amendment Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 2011 as the day on which Schedule 18 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Victims Support and

Rehabilitation Act 1996 relating to compensation to victims of crime.
