Commencement Proclamation

under the

Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Amendment
Act 2010 No 105

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Amendment Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 2011 as the day on which Schedule 1 [1]–[8], [17]–[21] and [23]–[26] and Schedules 2.1 and 2.3 to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Amendment Act 2010, other than the amendments relating to voluntary out-of-home care.
