Commencement Proclamation

under the

Courts and Crimes Legislation Further Amendment Act 2008
No 107

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Courts and Crimes Legislation Further Amendment Act 2008, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 19 February 2010 as the day on which Schedule 4 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the provisions of the Courts and Crimes Legislation Further Amendment Act 2008 that amend the Confiscation of Proceeds of Crime Act 1989 in relation to restraining orders and freezing notices.
