Commencement Proclamation

under the

Succession Amendment (Family Provision) Act 2008 No 75

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Succession Amendment (Family Provision) Act 2008, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 March 2009 as the day on which that Act (other than Schedule 2.1) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Succession Amendment (Family Provision) Act 2008 other than Schedule 2.1 (which is taken to have commenced on 1 March 2008 under section 2 (2) of the Act).
