Commencement Proclamation

under the

Crimes and Courts Legislation Amendment Act 2006 No 107

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Crimes and Courts Legislation Amendment Act 2006, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 18 December 2009 as the day on which Schedule 1.11 [20] and [21] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Criminal Procedure Act 1986 made by Schedule 1.11 [20] and [21] to the Crimes and Courts Legislation Amendment Act 2006.

The amendments provide for the expiration of arrest warrants issued under the Criminal

Procedure Act 1986.
