Commencement Proclamation

under the

Coroners Act 2009 No 41

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Coroners Act 2009, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 2010 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act (other than Schedule 3.4 [1]) commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence all of the uncommenced provisions of the Coroners Act 2009 except for Schedule 3.4 [1] to the Act. Section 2 (2) of the Act provides for the commencement of Schedule 3.4 [1].
