Commencement Proclamation

under the

Crimes (Appeal and Review) Amendment Act 2009 No 4

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Crimes (Appeal and Review) Amendment Act 2009, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 November 2009 as the day on which Schedule 1 [15] to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the remaining uncommenced provision of the Crimes (Appeal and Review) Amendment Act 2009, which relates to the stay of a suspension or disqualification of a driver licence pending the determination of an appeal.
