Commencement Proclamation

under the

Wollongong Sportsground and Old Roman Catholic Cemetery
Legislation Amendment (Transfer of Land) Act 2001 No 103

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Wollongong Sportsground and Old Roman Catholic Cemetery Legislation Amendment (Transfer of Land) Act 2001, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 November 2009 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Wollongong Sportsground and Old Roman Catholic Cemetery Legislation Amendment (Transfer of Land) Act 2001, which make provision for the vesting of certain land in the Crown and for the closing of part of a public road.
