Commencement Proclamation

under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment Act 2008
No 36

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment Act 2008, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2009 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)

Schedule 1 to that Act, except for:

(i)	Schedule 1.1 [11] to the extent that it inserts section 56 (2) (g) and the sentence following that paragraph,
(ii)	Schedule 1.1 [15],

(iii) Schedule 1.2 [21],

(b)

Schedule 2.1 [51] to that Act, except to the extent that it inserts section 118 (12) (d).

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 relating to environmental plan-making reforms.
