Commencement Proclamation

under the

Courts and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2007 No 73

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Courts and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2007, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 2009 as the day on which Schedule 2 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence Schedule 2 to the Courts and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2007 which amends the Land and Environment Court Act 1979 in relation to privilege and conciliation conferences.
