Commencement Proclamation

under the

Interpretation Amendment Act 2006 No 43

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Interpretation Amendment Act 2006, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 12 June 2008 as the day on which Schedule 1 [9] and [10] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Interpretation Act 1987 that confer power on the Governor to make regulations to enable particular miscellaneous statutory instruments of a legislative nature to be officially published on the NSW legislation website, and that make a consequential change to evidentiary provisions about the due making of statutory rules.
