Combat Sports Amendment Regulations 2019

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.       Citation

17 May 2019 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 1435

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows -

(a) regulations I and 2—on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b) the rest of the regulations - on 1 July 2019.

3.           Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Combat Sports Regulations 2004.

4.            Regulation 9 amended

In regulation 9:

(a) delete paragraph (g) and insert:
(g) timekeeper;
(b) after paragraph (g) insert:
(h) second.

5.            Regulation 10 amended

In regulation 10 in the Table insert in alphabetical order:

Second (a)

Copy of proof of the driver's licence or passport.

(b) Details of the participant's
experience, qualifications and
any accreditation.
(c) All the particulars required to
be disclosed in the application
form approved under section 27 of the Act.

6.            Regulation 17C amended

After regulation 1 7C(e) insert:

(ea) the number of tickets for admission to the

contest that are proposed to be made available;

7.           Regulation 17E replaced

Delete regulation 17E and insert:

17E. Fees for permit for contest
The fees set out in Schedule 3 item 4 are prescribed for a permit for a contest under section 44(2)(e) of the Act.

8.            Schedule 3 replaced

Delete Schedule 3 and insert:

Schedule 3— Fees

1. Fee for registration as a contestant under
section 16(2)(c) of the Act or renewal of registration
as a contestant under section 19(3)(c) of the Act
