An Act to increase the Duties on Colonial

| 1. I n l ieu of t h e duties now chargeable on Spirits | manufac tu red |
in t h e Colony of N e w South W a l e s inc lud ing al l such Spiri ts now in bond t he r e shall be t aken and levied on all k inds of Spirits so manufac tu red t h e s t r eng th of w h i c h can be ascer ta ined by Sykes ' H y d r o m e t e r twelve shil l ings the proof gal lon.

thousand e igh t h u n d r e d a n d seventy-nine of any Colonial made Spir i ts whe reupon any addi t ional du ty shall be payable under t h e provisions of th i s A c t shal l be at l iber ty to add to t h e price cont rac ted for so m u c h m o n e y as will be equiva len t to t h e addi t ional du ty wh ich shal l b y reason of sucli provisions have been paid or made payable on such Spiri ts and shal l be ent i t led by v i r tue of this A c t to be paid t he same accordingly by t h e purchaser of such Spir i ts and to sue for a n d recover t h e same aga ins t such purchase r Provided t h a t in every case whe re
