An Act to amend the Colonial Passengers Ordinances and

Acts.

[Assented to 18th September, 1885.

HEREAS it is expedient to amend the law relating to the

Wcertain ports and places within the Colony : Be it enacted by Hiscarrying of Certificated Mates in Coasting Vessels, between

Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Column thereof, as follows :-

1. Every Colonial ship or vessel to which The Colonial Passengers coasting vessel

Repeal of 2nd .

3. The second section of The Colonial Passengers Ordinance Amendment Act, 1875,' is hereby repealed ; provided that this repeal shall not affect any liability incurred or the validity of any proceedings commenced or taken in respect of any offence committed before the commencement of this Act, but such liability may be enforced, and such proceedings may be carried on, as if this Act had not passed.

4. This Act shall be read and construed together with and shall be

5. This Act may be cited for all purposes as The Colonial Pas-
