An
Act to amend the Colonial Light Dues (Rates) Act 1932.

to 7th December, 1936.]
BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent
Majesty, the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of
Australia, as follows:—
Short
title and citation.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Colonial Light Dues (Rates) Act 1936.
(2.) The Colonial
Light Dues (Rates) Act 1932 is in
this Act referred to as the Principal Act.
(3.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act,
may be cited as the Colonial Light Dues (Rates) Act 1932–1936.
Incorporation.
2. Section two of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the
figures “1932” and inserting in their stead the figures “1932–1936”.
Imposition
of Colonial light does.
3. Section three of the Principal Act is amended—
(a)
by omitting from sub-section (1.) the words “to or from Australia”; and
(b)by adding at the end of sub-section
(1.) the words “and in respect of which benefit the Collector is not satisfied
that Colonial light dues have already been paid in some part of His Majesty’s
Dominions”.
The
Schedule.
4. The Schedule to the Principal Act is amended by omitting from
the First Part the following items:—
