An Act to continue for a limited time the Act to amend the Acts now in force respecting the Distillation of Spirits and more effectually to prevent Illicit Distillation. [24th August, 1847.]

WH E R E A S N e w South Wales was passed in t h e n i n t h year of the re ign of
an A c t of t he Governor and Legis la t ive Council of
H e r presen t Majesty in t i tu led "An Act to amend the Acts now in force
" respecting the Distillation of Spirits and more effectually to prevent
" Illicit Distillation " which said Act will expire on t h e thirty-first
day of December now nex t ensuing A n d whereas i t is expedient to

con t inue t h e same for t h e l imited period hereinafter ment ioned Be it therefore enacted by H i s Excel lency the Governor of N e w South Wales wi th the advice and consent of the Legislat ive Counci l thereof Tha t t h e said recited Ac t shal l be and the same is hereby cont inued for the period of five years from and after t he said thirty-first day of December
