AN ACT to authorise the Construction of a Railway from the South-Western Railway to the Collie Quarry.

[Assented to, 23rd December, 189.7.]

BE it enacted by- the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and	Preamble.
with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parlia- ment assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. THIS Act may be cited as the Collie Quarry Railway Short title.

Deviation. Railways Act, 1818, it shall be lawful for the Commissioner of 3. NOTWITHSTANDING anything contained in the

Railways to deviate from the line, as described in such Schedule, to the extent of two miles on either side thereof.

SCHEDULE.

COLLIE QUARRY RAILWAY.

DESCRIPTION OF LINE OF RAILWAY.

Commencing at or near a point on the South-Western Railway 100 miles 52 chains or thereabouts from its commencing point at East Perth, on the Eastern Railway, and proceeding thence in a generally North-Easterly direction for about 11 chains ; thence in a generally South-Easterly direction for about 24 chains ; thence in a generally Easterly direction for about 15 chains ; thence in a generally South-Easterly direction for about 19 chains ; thence in a generally North- Easterly direction for about 32 chains ; thence in a generally Easterly direction for about 8 chains ; thence in a generally North-Easterly direction for about 32 chains ; thence in a generally South-Easterly direction for about 8 chains ; thence in a generally North-Easterly direction for about 10 chains, and terminating at a point in Wellington Location 1.

Total length about 1 mile 79 chains.
