Cocos (Keeling) Islands (Courts) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Cocos (Keeling) Islands Act 1955.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Cocos (Keeling) Islands (Courts) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (Courts and tribunals of Western Australia)

3.1   Add at the end:

• “; (o)

  the Equal Opportunity Tribunal established by the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 of Western Australia.”.

4.   Regulation 5 (Offices of courts or tribunals of Western Australia)

4.1   Add at the end:

• “; (n)

  the offices of President, deputy president, member and deputy member of the Equal Opportunity Tribunal.”.
