Coarse Grains Levy Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and having taken into consideration the recommendations made to the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy by the Grains Council of Australia, make the following Regulations under the Coarse Grains Levy Act 1992.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These regulations are taken to have commenced on 1 October 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Coarse Grains Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 3 (Interpretation)

3.1 Definition of “millet”:

Omit “italica;”, substitute “italica (grain millet types);”.

4.   Regulation 4 (Rates of levy - barley)

4.1 Omit the regulation.

5.   Regulation 5 (Rates of levy - oats and cereal rye)

5.1 Omit the regulation.
