I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A. C., Governor of the State
of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in
pursuance of section 2 of the Coal Mining Industry Long Service Leave (Repeal) Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 26 June 1993 as

the day on which that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Coal Mining Industry (Long Service Leave) Repeal Act 1992. The repeal complements Commonwealth legislation establishing a new national industry scheme for long service in the coal mining industry
