s1 2 s5 Coal Mining Exemption (No. 1) No. 21, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the Coal Mining Exemption Order (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Definitions 2. In this order in council— “mine” means the Jeebropilly Open-Cut Mine on mining lease no. 4690. “site” means the part of the mine on portions 205 and 206 outlined in red on plan no. HA3–29. 1 ˙ Site exempted 3. The site is exempted from the Act. 2 ˙ Notification of completion of project 4.(1) The manager of the mine must notify the inspector of completion of the project. (2) The notice must be given within 7 days of the day of completion. ˙ Expiry of order in council 5. This order in council expires on the inspector’s receipt of the notice. 1 This plan is held by the Department of Mines and Energy and may be examined at its offices at 61 Mary Street, Brisbane. 2 The Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 applies to the land while it is exempt from the Act.
