AN ACT to amend the Coal Miners' Welfare

Act, 1947.

[Assented to 30th September, 1957.]

BE it enacted, by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Coal Miners' ET=r,

Welfare Act Amendment Act, 1957.

(2) In this Act the Coal Miners' Welfare Act,

1947,

Act No. 70 of 1947,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Coal Miners' Welfare Act, 1947- 1957.

(a)	by adding after the word, "January" in line two of subsection (1), the passage, ", April,";
(b)	by deleting the word, "and" in line two of subsection (1);
(c)	by adding after the word, "July" in line two of subsection (1), the passage, ", and October,";
(d)	by substituting for the words, "six months" in line six of subsection (1), the words, "three months";
(e)	by adding after the word, "December" in line eight of subsection (1), the passage, ", March,";
(f)	by deleting the word, "or" in line eight of subsection (1); and
(g)	by adding after the word, "June" in line eight of subsection (1), the passage, ", or September".
