AN ACT to amend the Coal Mine Workers

(Pensions) Act, 1943-1969.

[Assented to 29th April, 1970.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Coal Mine Short title.

(2) In this Act the Coal Mine Workers (Pensions) Reprinted In Vol. 17 of the

Act, 1943-1969 is referred to as the principal Act.	Reprinted

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may of 1964,16 of 1965, 92 of

be cited as the Coal Mine Workers (Pensions) Act,

Amendment

to A 10A. 2. Section 10A of the principal Act is amended

(a)	by substituting for the passage beginning with the word "week", in line fourteen of subsection (1), and ending with the word "addition", being the last word in the sub- section, the word "week"; and
(b)	by adding after subsection (2) a subsection as follows

(3) Subsections (1) and (2) respec- tively of this section apply only where the employment is engaged in at a time during which

(a)	the pensioner or any one of his dependants; or
(b)	the widow or female relative,

as the case may be, is, under the Social Services Act 1947-1969 of the Parliament of the Commonwealth or any Act amend- ing or in substitution of that Act, receiving, or is qualified to apply to receive, a pension. .
