AN ACT to amend the Coal Mine Workers

(Pensions) Act, 1943-1965.

[Assented to 19th May, 1969.1

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Coal Mine

and citation.

Workers (Pensions) Act Amendment Act, 1969.

(2) In this Act the Coal Mine Workers (Pensions) PrMei! in

Act, 1943-1965, is referred to as the principal Act. itarian:ad

Amendment

to s. 7.

2. Section seven of the principal Act is amended

as to subsection (2)—

(a)

by adding after the word "by", in line thirteen, the words "the amount by which"; and

(b)

by substituting for the passage "section.", in line twenty-seven, a passage as follows

exceeds seventeen dollars per week." .

Amendment

to a. 10A.

3. Section ten A of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the words "seven pounds", in lines thirteen and fourteen of subsection (1) and in line six of subsection (2), the words "seventeen dollars".
