An Act to convert monetary references in the Coal In­ dustry Act, 1946, into decimal currency; for this purpose to amend that Act; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 1st October, 1971.]

D E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as

follows: —

1. This Act may be cited as the "Coal Industry

2 .     The Coal Industry Act, 1946, is amended—

(a) by omitting from subsection two of section 54A the words "one hundred pounds" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "two hundred dollars";

(b) (i) by omitting from section sixty the words "one thousand pounds" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "two thousand dollars";

(ii)   by omitting from the same section the words "one hundred pounds" wherever occurring and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "two hundred dollars".
