COAL AND OIL SHALE MINE WORKERS (SUPERANNUATION) FURTHER AMENDMENT

An Act to make further provision relating to the entitlement of mine workers and other persons to pensions; for this and other purposes to amend the Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Super­ annuation) Act, 1941; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 21st December, 1971.] BE

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative	Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the "Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Superannuation) Further Amendment Act, 1971".

2. (1) The Schedule to the Coal and Oil Shale Mine

Workers (Superannuation) Act, 1941, is amended—

(a)	by omitting from the third column the figures "20.25" and by inserting in lieu thereof the figures "21.50";
(b)	by omitting from the same column the figures "15.25" and by inserting in lieu thereof the figures "16.00";
(c)	by omitting from the same column the figures "2.50" and by inserting in lieu thereof the figures "4.50";

(d)	by omitting from the same column the figures "19.25" appearing opposite the figure "5" in the first column and by inserting in lieu thereof the figures "20.50";
(e)	by omitting from the same column the figures "19.25" appearing opposite the figure "6" in the first column and by inserting in lieu thereof the figures "20.50".

(2) The amendments made by paragraphs (a), (b) , (c) and (d) of subsection one of this section shall be deemed to have commenced on the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seventy-one.

(3) The amendment made by paragraph (e) of subsection one of this section shall be deemed to have commenced on the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seventy-one.
