Act No. 80, 1973.

An Act to remove the restriction on mineworkers receiving pension payments under the Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Superannuation) Act, 1941, as well as workers' compensation or certain other damages for injury; for this purpose to amend the Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Superannuation) Act, 1941; to validate certain matters; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 20th December, 1973.]

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.     This Act may be cited as the "Coal and Oil Shale Mine

Workers (Superannuation) Amendment Act, 1973".

2. Section 3 shall be deemed to have commenced on

15th July, 1973.

3. The Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Superannua­

tion) Act, 1941, is amended by omitting section 12.
