COAL AND OIL SHALE MINE WORKERS (SUPERANNUATION) AMENDMENT ACT.

An Act to amend subsection (3A) of section nineteen of the Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Superannuation) Act, 1941-1964; and for pur- poses connected therewith. [Assented to, 13th December, 1965.] BE

¥>E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by -*-* and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: —

(1) This Act may be cited as the "Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Superannuation) Amendment Act, 1965".

(2) The Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Super- annuation) Act, 1941, as amended by subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Superannuation) Act, 1941-1965.

2. The Coal and Oil Shale Mine Workers (Superannua- tion) Act, 1941-1964, is amended by inserting at the end of paragraph (a) of subsection (3A) of section nineteen the following new paragraph : —

In respect of the period of twelve months commenc- ing on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-five, the foregoing provisions of this paragraph shall be read and construed as if the words "eighty thousand pounds" were omitted therefrom and the words "one hundred and sixty thousand pounds" were substi- tuted therefor.
