No 2—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Co-operatives Legislation Amendment Act 1999, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 2000 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this proclamation is to commence Schedule 2 [2] and Schedule 4 to the Co-operatives Legislation Amendment Act 1999. These provisions set out amendments relating to the Co-operative Housing and Starr-Bowkett Societies Act 1998, which is to commence on 1 September 2000.
