AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1939-1972, as

amended by the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1973.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under

the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910-1972.

CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ORDINANCE (No. 2) 1973

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Co-operative Societies

Ordinance (No. 2) 1973.*
(2) Section 1 of the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1973 is amended by omitting sub-section ( 2 ) .

(3) The Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1939-1972,t as amended by the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 19731 and by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1939-1973.

2. Section 14B of the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1939-1972, as amended by the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1973, is amended by inserting in paragraph (a) of sub-section ( 1 ) , after the words " building society,", the words " the Commonwealth,".
