AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1939-1966.

{Administration) Act 1910-1970.

CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ORDINANCE 1972

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Co-operative Societies

Ordinance 1972.*
(2.) The Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1939-1966,1 as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1939-1972.

2. Section 14G of the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1939-1966

is amended—

(a)	by omitting from sub-sections (2.), (3.), (4.) and (5.) the words " Eight hundred dollars " (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words " One thousand dollars "; and
(b)	by omitting from sub-sections (3.), (4.) and (5.) the words " Two thousand dollars " (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words " Four thousand dollars ".
