CO-OPERATION ACT 1923—REGULATION

(Relating to investments by co-operative societies)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Co-operation Act 1923, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Co-operatives Regulations 1961 are amended by inserting after

Regulation 34 (6) (a) (ii) the following subparagraph:

(iii) a deposit with such a credit union;

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to enable co-operative societies to invest funds

by means of deposits with credit unions. The Regulation is made under section 68
(1) (c) of the Act.
