CO-OPERATION ACT 1923 - REGULATION
(Relating to investment of funds)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Co-operation Act 1923, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Co-operatives Regulations 1961 are amended by inserting in Regulation 34 (2) in alphabetical order the words “State Bank of Victoria.”.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Co-operatives Regulations 1961 to allow a society registered under the Co-operation Act 1923, other than a non-terminating building society, to invest any of its funds by way of deposit with the State Bank of Victoria.
