Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1 . This Act mav be cited as the " Closer Settlement

Purchases Validation Act, 1923." 2 .

2 . The persons n a m e d in t h e first co lumn of t h e
Schedule are he reby declared to have been, as from t h e

twenty-f i f th day of October , one thousand n ine hund red

a n d t w e n t y , s e t t l emen t purchasers , u n d e r and subjec t

t o t he provisions of t he Closer Se t t l emen t Act , 1904,

a n d a n y A c t a m e n d i n g the same, of t he por t ions of

land , pa r t i cu la r s of which are set forth in t he Schedule opposi te to t h e names of such persons respect ively , a n d the said por t ions of l and a re he reby declared, as f rom the said date , to have vested in and to have been held by the said persons respect ively, as se t t l ement purchases , u n d e r and subjec t to t he provisions of t h e

said Ac t s .
