2 Clean Air (Prohibition of Use of Leaded Fuel Oil) No. 368, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Clean Air (Prohibition of Use of Leaded Fuel Oil) Regulation 1993 . ˙ Definition 2. In this regulation— “leaded fuel oil” means fuel oil having a lead content exceeding 0.02% by weight. ˙ Prohibition of use of certain combustible materials 3.(1) A person must not use a combustible material that is or contains leaded fuel oil without the approval of the chief executive. (2) The chief executive may impose conditions on the approval that the chief executive considers appropriate. (3) Subsection (1) applies throughout the State. ˙ Power to prohibit 4. This regulation is made for the purposes of section 36 of the Act. 1 ˙ Repeal 5. The order in council made under the Act and published in the Gazette on 30 June 1984 at page 1467 is repealed. 1 A person convicted of an offence against section 3 is liable to the penalty specified in section 46(3A) of the Act.
