180 Clean Air Act Amendment Act 1987, No. 21 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . This Act may be cited as the Clean Air Act Amendment Act 1987. 2. Commencement . (1) This Act, other than sections 4, 5 and 6, shall commence on the day on which this Act is assented to for and on behalf of Her Majesty. (2) Sections 4, 5 and 6 shall commence on 1 July 1987. 3. Principal Act and citation as amended . (1) In this Act the Clean Air Act 1963-1984 is referred to as the Principal Act. (2) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Clean Air Act 1963-1987. 4. Amendment of s. 9 . Proceedings of the Council Meetings . Section 9 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from paragraph (b) of subsection (1) the word "Five" and substituting the word "Four". 5. Amendment of s. 19. Licences . Section 19 of the Principal Act is amended by- (a) in subsection (3), omitting the words "thirtieth day of June" and substituting the words "thirty-first day of March"; (b) in subsection (4), omitting the words "thirtieth day of June" and substituting the words "thirty-first day of March". 6. Amendment of s. 23. Fees . Section 23 of the Principal Act is amended by in subsection (1)- (a) omitting the words "thirty-first day of July" and substituting the words "thirtieth day of April"; (b) omitting the words "thirtieth day of June" and substituting the words "thirty-first day of March". 7. Correction of word " license ". The Principal Act is amended by omitting the word "license" when used as a noun wherever it occurs and substituting the word "licence" in each case, and by omitting the word "licenses" when used as a noun wherever it occurs and substituting the word "licences" in each case.
