1  Name

This instrument is the Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) (Modifications of Films) Amendment Instrument 2018.

2  Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after this instrument is registered.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under paragraph 20A(2)(e) and subsection 21(3) of the Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Act 1995.

4  Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) (Modifications of Films) Instrument 2015

1  At the end of subsection 5(1)

Add:

; or  (c) any other format change; or

(d) colour grading, visual effects or audio level changes; or

(e) omitting footage or audio present in the original film.

2  Paragraph 5(2)(b)

Repeal the paragraph.
