I, GARETH JOHN EVANS, the Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, hereby make the following Regulations under the Classification of Publications Ordinance 1983.

Prescribed markings
1. Regulation 5 of the Classification of Publications Regulations is
amended by inserting after sub-regulation (2) the following sub-regulation:
" ( 2 A ) For the purposes of sub-section 35 (1A) of the Ordinance— (a)
the prescribed markings in relation to a video tape or a video disc that is classified as a 'G' film shall comprise a symbol, being the letter 'G\ enclosed within, but not touched at any point by, a triangle, the letter 'G' being not less than 5 millimetres or more than 10 millimetres in height, with or without the addition of any words;
(b)
the prescribed markings in relation to a video tape or video disc that is classified as a 'PG' film shall comprise a symbol, being the letters 'PG' enclosed within, but not touched at any point by, a rectangle, the letters 'PG' being not less than 5 millimetres or more than 10 millimetres in height, with or without the addition of any words; and
(c)
the prescribed markings in relation to a video tape or video disc that is classified as an 'M' film shall comprise a symbol, being the letter 'M' enclosed within, but not touched at any point by, a circle, the letter 'M' being not less than 5 millimetres or more than 10 millimetres in height, with or without the addition of any words.".

Exempt bodies
2. Regulation 6 of the Classification of Publications Regulations is
amended by inserting "college of technical and further education in the
Classification of Publications 1984 No. 407
