CLASSIFICATION OF PUBLICATIONS, FILMS AND COMPUTER GAMES REGULATIONS 1985

Regulations under the Classification Of Publications, Films And Computer Games Act 1985

1Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Classification of Publications, Films and Computer Games Regulations 1985.

2Commencement

These Regulations shall come into operation on the commencement of the Classification of Publications Act 1985.

7Display of sexual articles

For section 102(3)(a) of the Act, a pharmacy business as defined in Schedule 7, clause 1 of the Health Practitioners Act 2004 is a prescribed business.

8Exemptions

For section 118(2) of the Act, the Charles Darwin University, the Alice Springs College of Technical and Further Education, Batchelor Institute, the Northern Territory Open College of Technical and Further Education, Katherine Rural College (known as the Northern Territory Rural College) and the Board of the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory are prescribed persons.
