Cladding Safety Victoria Amendment Regulations 2024

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to make consequential amendments to the Cladding Safety Victoria Regulations 2020 relating to nomenclature arising from changes being made by the Building Legislation Amendment Act 2023.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 43 of the Cladding Safety Victoria Act 2020.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 February 2024.

4Amendments to Schedule 1—Forms

In Form 2 of Schedule 1 to the Cladding Safety Victoria Regulations 2020[1]—

(a)for "draftsperson" substitute "building designer";

(b)for "draftsperson(s)" (where twice occurring) substitute "building designer(s)";

(c)for "draftsperson's" substitute "building designer's".
