An Act to amend the " Civil Service Act, 1884,

in respect of Classification and Increases."

[25th October 1886.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legisla­

tive Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by

the authority of the same as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the " Civil Service Act Amend­

ment Act 1886."

2. So much of the "Civil Service Act 1884" as prescribes a Classification of all Officers within Divisions and so much of the said Act as entitles such Officers to Increases based on such Classification are hereby repealed The repeal hereby enacted shall take effect on and after the first day of January in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven and not before.
